My Favourite Places for Coffee in Niagara, Canada

  • BicklesHardware.com in Niagara Falls on Main Street (near Lundy’s Lane) has excellent whole-beans freshly ground in a very nice Miele espresso machine. It shouldn’t come as a surprise, that the most elite hardware store in Niagara would have the best coffee!
  • Aroma at the Outlet Collection in Niagara-on-the-Lake near the QEW & Glendale.
  • The new Dela terre at Ontario Street and Lakeport (old sweets cafe location) is good.
  • Pique- nique at wosely and russel in st cath is good
  • Strangely chocolates etc at welland ave near the giant tiger/beer store is really good for coffee and is probably the least busy / with the most seating. Check their hours online first.
  • If I cannot make it to one of the above spots, it goes without saying that you can find chains like Starbucks and McDonald’s all over the place.. In my opinion, Tim Hortons is inferior to anything else mentioned here.

Special mention of De Mello here, a Toronto-based coffee bean sourcer & roaster, for some of the best beans I have ever had in my life! When I am making coffee at home, De Mello is easily my number one favourite bag-of-beans.

Thanks to one of my Josh friends for tips/advice

Documenting yet another repeating Tesla Model X defect for June 2021

Yet again, a component of my Model X that has been previously “fixed” has broken.

I have added a page to evidence & track the Tesla Model X defect that we’ll call falcon door latch covers breaking repeatedly.

Fortunately no one (my son particularly) was hurt when the metal piece with sharp edges fell off.

Experiencing this repeatedly occurring is frustrating & depressing, to say the least, especially considering the many times and how recently my Model X has been in the hands of Tesla service.
